Welcome! Showcased is a music and art magazine based in Kent, Ohio. The original idea was for Showcased to be a place for local bands, writers and all artists to send us their stuff and get published.
Over the past year or so, Showcased has undergone some major staff and funding changes. Due to these problems, only one issue has been published. But the promised second issue is finally on its way.
When it's out, this is the place to read it online. The print version will be available at local businesses like The Exchange and Quonset Hut near Chapel Hill Mall. More locations will be listed as soon as they become available. Click on the "tell me when this page is updated" link at the top of this page to be the first to know when the second issue is out.
